Evolving Gold is focused on its flagship property - Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming. Our first phase of drilling has defined an extensive zone of gold mineralization at the North Stock target approximately 450 meters long, 200 meters wide, and to 550 meters at depth. At the end of the first phase of drilling it was still open to the east, west and to depth. All intersections above a cutoff of 0.25 gpt Au have an average grade of 0.96 gpt. It is also open to the west, east and south and may continue north around the margin of the North Stock diatreme. These results indicate the potential for a large scale, bulk tonnage deposit. Within this large zone are 2 high grade intervals 65 meters apart; 146 meters of 2.92 gpt and 131 meters of 2.84 gpt.
Early results from the second phase of drilling (commenced in June 2009) have expanded the high grade zone by 145 meters to the Southwest. RSC-020 encountered 10.8 gpt over 67.1 meters. A total of 55-60 core holes in this second phase of drilling are testing extensions of the high grade zones as well as the size potential of the halo, bulk tonnage style gold mineralization. Evolving is also testing for continuity between the North Stock target and the Antelope Basin target, 725 meters to the south. Drilling at Antelope Basin to date confirms the presence of long intervals of bulk tonnage gold mineralization which includes intervals of higher grade gold mineralization, similar to what has been intersected at the North Stock target.
Evolving also has 8 other gold properties in New Mexico and Nevada including a lease agreement with Newmont Mining Corporation on four prospective gold properties (North Carlin District Properties) located within the prolific Carlin Gold Trend. Evolving currently has 2 core rigs on the Carlin property in Nevada. Drilling at Carlin has intersected favorable host rocks, visually interpreted as lower plate rock units similar to those that host high grade gold mineralization in the Carlin Trend.
